When I saw Olivia Palermo (who is one of my style icons) wearing this satin bomber jacket during London Fashion Week I instantly fell in love and knew that no matter what I HAD to have this jacket. It is definitely a one of a kind piece and after waiting over a month for this jacket to re-stock as soon as it did i bought it and I definitely don't regret it. I love a classic vintage inspired piece because they are one of a kind and so unique. I was hoping that I could get this jacket on sale since it was $160 but it was worth every cent. As you can see this jacket is pure silk which makes it so warm and so comfortable. Although the warm weather is approaching us I was so excited with this purchase that I had to shoot it for you guys but, this jacket could be worn for a fun night out when it gets a litter chiller, the options with jackets are always limitless!
Another good thing about this jacket is that it is reversible. On one side you have the more neutral black side which could easily be paired with just about anything. Then on the other side you have the electric blue color which I love because it is so different. So you definitely get a bang for your buck with this one! Depending on how you are feeling you could wear the jacket on the black-colored side if you're feeling more neutral and trying to match it with a certain piece or if you're feeling experimental and funky you could flip it over to the blue-colored side for a more fun and colorful look.
Since the jacket has so much detail I really tried to keep the rest of this look as simple as I could. Due to the vintage feel to the jacket I paired it with this sexy lace up black bodysuit that I got from missguided last summer. Then I just threw on a stretchy black skirt, which I'm sure we all have at least one of these in our closets somewhere. Lastly, we have these amazing lace up block heeled sandals from Zara last summer as well. This is another item that kept selling out and as soon as it was re-stocked I seized the opportunity and purchased them right away. The moral of the story here is when you find a unique piece like this jacket or these sandals you have to go out on a limb and invest because chances are if you don't you will regret it, I know I would! Hope you guys enjoy!
