Lately, with finals and this semester coming to an end I've been extremely busy and it's been hectic and hard to find time to shoot some new looks for you guys. But, I took advantage of the warmer weather and went down to Belle Isle to shoot some new stuff. This look has a lot more color compared to my last post, it's fun and refreshing!
There is nothing that I love more than a colorful matching set especially for Spring. I adore this color scheme, the baby blue and peachy pastel pink instantly caught my eye. I found this set last year at Nordstrom. I waited until it was on sale to buy it, hoping that it wouldn't sell out in my size. I knew that this was a perfect color combo and needed some statement accessories to spice things up a bit. So, I added this chunky statement necklace which is one of my favorites. It has a gunmetal black look to it and clear beads so it is easy to pair with just about anything.
Probably my favorite part of this look is the shoes--of course. I love mixing and matching prints because you can come up with some really amazing looks by doing this. The best part is you can take pieces that you have had in your closet for a while and mix and match them with newer pieces. These pink peep-toe polka dot heels are one of a kind and like I say with just about any pair of shoes--when I saw them I HAD to have them because thats always a good excuse right? They are Madonna Lodie and of course I found them on sale and they only had one pair left in my size ( clearly it was meant to be ;). The polka dots accented the butterflies perfectly and after pairing the two together I knew this was a look to die for.
